Your CV and the job advert

Your questions aren't generic — they're generated from what your CV claims and what this job asks for. The better the inputs, the sharper the interview.

CV files that work

  • Formats: PDF, DOCX or TXT, up to 10 MB.
  • The file must contain real text — export a text-based PDF rather than a scan or photo. If nothing readable can be extracted, the upload is rejected and your allowance is not used.
  • Use the CV you'd actually send for this role. The analysis flags gaps between the advert's asks and your CV's evidence — that's exactly the list of questions to expect.

The job advert matters more than you think

Paste the full advert or job description (up to 12,000 characters), not just the title. Requirements, responsibilities and the company's own language all feed the questions — a vague advert produces vague questions, exactly like a lazy interviewer would ask.

Preparing several roles

You can upload fresh CVs and job adverts within your package's fair-use limits, so preparing across a handful of applications is fine — pair each mock interview with the specific advert it's for.

What happens to your files

Privacy is deliberate here: the raw CV file and your answer audio are deleted within about 24 hours. What's kept is the derived, structured material your preparation needs — the extracted CV text analysis, your answer transcripts, scores and reports. Nothing you upload is ever used to train AI models.
