What we build

Don't Wing the Interview is a voice-first interview preparation tool. You paste the job advert you are applying for and upload your CV; the app works out what the employer is testing, runs you through a spoken mock interview, scores every answer, and shows you exactly what to fix — all before the real interview.

It is preparation only. We deliberately do not build live interview assistance, and we never will: feeding people answers mid-interview is bad for candidates and worse for hiring.

How our guides are produced

The interview guides on this site are written with AI assistance and structured around the same answer-scoring rubric the product uses: specificity, ownership, measurable results and role fit. Every example answer is explicitly illustrative — we never publish fabricated testimonials, invented statistics or claims we cannot stand behind, and every page goes through automated checks for exactly that before it ships.

Our principles

Your real experience is enough — it usually just needs better packaging. The product rebuilds weak answers from what you actually did, and flags any claim not supported by your CV or what you said, so you never rehearse something you cannot defend in the room.

Privacy is a feature: voice recordings are deleted immediately after transcription and raw CVs within 24 hours by default.
