How Don't Wing the Interview works

Don't Wing the Interview runs voice mock interviews built from your CV and the job advert you're going for. You answer out loud, every answer is scored with specific feedback, and you finish with a readiness score out of 100 plus a report that tells you exactly what to fix before the real thing.

The journey, end to end

  1. Sign up with your email address (or Google, where available) and confirm your email.
  2. Pick a package — a one-off purchase of mock interviews. There's no subscription and packages never expire.
  3. Upload your CV (PDF, DOCX or TXT, up to 10 MB) and paste the job advert you're preparing for.
  4. Run a mock interview in your browser — you'll need a microphone. The questions are generated from your CV and the advert, so they're the questions this role would actually ask.
  5. Read your report — every answer scored with feedback, a readiness score out of 100, and rewrites for the answers that let you down.

What you need

  • A laptop or desktop browser with a working microphone (there's a mic check on the dashboard before you start).
  • Your current CV as a text-based PDF, DOCX or TXT file — scanned or image-only PDFs can't be read.
  • The advert or description for the job you're targeting.

Is it a live-interview tool?

No — deliberately. This is a preparation tool for before the interview, not an assistant to use during one. Everything is built to make you better in the room: rehearsed answers grounded in your real experience, with feedback that flags anything your CV or your spoken answers don't actually support.

Try before you buy

The product itself is paid-only, but there are three free preparation tools — no account needed — if you want a feel for the quality first.
